Welcome the bees & other pollinators
When we think about gardens, we must often consider plants. However, we ALSO need to think about pollinators.
This is especially true if you want “color” in your garden.
That means this…

You gotta get over your fear of getting stung and invite those little bees into your garden.
(Butterflies, too!)
Without the “birds and the bees” we don’t have new life and new color and all the other things.

Here’s how to do it…
Plant some FLOWERING items in your space, and they’ll come.
Then, as a result, you’ll have more & more & more & more.
So, whereas we DO want evergreen items throughout our yard (so the place doesn’t look barren during certain seasons), we ALSO want flowers that support pollinators— birds and bees— because THEY make the magic happen.
Tip: butterflies require water. See this post about the importance of having a fountain in your garden-- for both butterflies and birds.
